EXHALE — Breathwork & Nervous System Reset | Sunday 15 November, Stamford
About This Session
Sunday 15 November 2026 · 10:30–12:30 · The Dutch Barn, Stamford
INTRODUCTION TO SOMATIC SYSTEM
Two hours to put the week down and learn how your own nervous system actually works.
Most of us are running at a level of tension we've stopped noticing. The shallow breathing, the tight jaw, the 3am wake-up, the feeling of being switched on all the time without ever feeling quite awake. That isn't a character flaw or a discipline problem. It's a nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do. It is time to unwind it back to its natural, peaceful state.
What we'll do
- Understand it. A clear, simple insight into what your nervous system is doing when you're wired, when you're flat, and when you're genuinely settled — and why the breath is the fastest way in.
- Practise it. Guided breathwork you can actually feel working, including a longer journey with music where you get to stop managing everything for a while.
- Take it home. A small set of practices for the moments that need them — before the difficult conversation, in the car park, at 3am — so this doesn't stay a nice Sunday you once had. Because breathwork is not a wellness session. It is an accumulative practice.
Who it's for
Anyone who is tired, wired, stressed or constantly feeling like they are catching up with sleep. You do not need any experience with breathwork, meditation or yoga, and you do not need to be flexible, calm, or good at sitting still. If you've never done anything like this, this is the room designed for you.
Come on your own or bring someone. Most people come alone.
You'll be looked after
Depending on numbers, there will be two practitioners in the room — Diana, the founder of Aire & Soul, with over 20 years experience in Breathwork, and an incredibly intuitive assisting practitioner alongside. That means if anything comes up for you during the practice, there is someone free to come to you, quietly, without the session stopping. Giving you assistance and privacy. You can fully let go — you are not expected to manage yourself in here.
What to bring
Comfortable clothes you can lie down in, warm socks, an eye mask if you like to really go inward — and a water bottle. Everything else is provided.
Before you book
Breathwork is powerful, which means it isn't right for everyone on every day. Please get in touch first rather than booking if you are pregnant, or if you have epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, glaucoma or a detached retina, a recent surgery or health crisis, or a severe mental health diagnosis. Often we can adapt the practice for you — I just need to know first. If you have any of these conditions, I will probably guide you to a bespoke session or a different practice.
Everyone will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day. This is standard in all of my sessions.
About Diana
Diana de la Selva is a success and nervous system coach working with breathwork, somatics and NLP. She works mostly with founders, executives and people in high-pressure environments, on the premise that the nervous system sets the ceiling on what you can do. She is the host of the AIRE podcast.
Places are limited to 20. Non-refundable but transferable.
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Although breathwork can be generally safe in most cases, it is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions.
- Cardiovascular problems
- Epilepsy
- Recent surgery (6 months or less)
- Psychosis
- You are currently pregnant.
- Any other medical conditions should be cleared with your GP before doing breathwork.
If this is you, then you are not eligible for aire & soul breathwork.
If you have another condition that you may be concerned about, please ask your doctor if you are eligible for breathwork and let me know before the session.
Contact me to book a bespoke session that meets your requirements. We can go deep with other techniques to release without breathwork.
Before & After Care
Before your session
Please make sure you avoid big meals up to 2 hours before the session.
Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol if you can for 24 hrs previous to the session.
If you have any concerns or would like to share what you are working through, please get in touch. I would love to help you get the most out of your experience.
After your session
- Please stay hydrated
- Create screenless solo space: In the next day or so, make sure you have some time to relax and process the session (maybe journal, meditate, do yoga or go for a walk or run)
For deeper somatic sessions:
Integration after breathwork is a huge part of my sessions. Please try to avoid rushing off to your day or leaving the session early.
- Be gentle with yourself and the people you love. Emotions may surface after deep somatic breathwork, not always, but sometimes, and you may need to process emotions that are triggered by things that usually don't trigger you. Try to journal, feel into that and get support if needed. You do not have to process it alone.
What you will need
For your session, please bring:
- Comfortable clothes
- Socks
- A blanket (some people get very cold during breathwork)
- A journal or something to write on
- A pen
- Your own water bottle
- Small pillows are welcome if the session includes hypnosis or relaxation, but they are not ideal for breathwork, as the angle of your head can potentially alter the air passageway.
If you struggle lying flat on your back for the whole duration of the session, let me know, and I can give you alternative positions depending on the activation.
